This movie was a riot and I thought Joan Rivers very likable. She's smart, very funny (even if occasionally dodgy in her humour), driven and says how she sees it. It's also very sad at times with an underlying feeling that she's lonely. The whole thing surprised me - although I had read that her ex.manager is suing her and the film makers because of the unfavorable way he is portrayed. Really he does it to himself and, frankly, it's not long into it that you start to think he's a drinker and his "disappearances" have an alcoholic ring to them. Having seen this I'd happily fork out the cash to go to one of her shows. If you get a chance go see it.
